There is always a good time to think about prom dresses

Maybe it is too early to talk about proms, but because all the freshman parties are thrown in this period of the year, I got to look for prom dresses. A girl can dream, because each and any one of us wants to look good in an unforgettable dress.

I remembered my prom and although I had a simple black gown, which I adore and which was what I wished for, I love glitter and sparkle. And who doesn’t like lace these days? Girls imagine themselves in breathtaking dresses and having so many options to choose from can be overwhelming, but it is always fun.

I came across the dresses from MissesDressy.com and I saw so many beauties that made me think about my college graduation prom, which will be in two years. The prom dresses 2013 have countless designs from heart-shaped beaded corsets to radiant colors that make you noticed. I admit, I love gowns for special occasions like the prom, but some of the short dresses made me think about changing my mind.

And if you really want to be glamorous at any occasion, you can choose from Sherri Hill’s dresses. Sophisticated embroideries and stunning colors characterize her designs, which are able to make any girl drool. There is no chance for you to blend in with the crowd in one of her dresses.

The Backpack

I like this backpack, because it has an army feeling while being casual and cool. I've seen this type of backpack on other street style blogs and I'm happy to find one in Bucharest. Sorry that I didn't catch this guy to take a proper photo of him.

Bleached Denim

Nowadays bleaching and dyeing is very in. You can see all over fashion magazines and blogs clothes that stand out because of dip dye, tie dye or bleach dye. So, of course, I wanted to own such a piece. But I didn't pay to much attention to it, until I bumped into Karen's DIY "tutorial". I found in my mom's closet an old oversized denim shirt and bleached it. Silly me, I didn't take a before picture, but you can try to imagine a boring and very dark denim shirt. Here is the result.

V for Vintage

This weekend, vintage and fashion lovers could visit the V for Vintage fair. Beside the vintage clothes and accessories, young designers were present too. I liked the pieces although I've seen some of them at other fairs. But the atmosphere was a little bit tense. I don't know why. Edith Piaf was singing in the background and people had straight faces and didn't smile. My plan was to go there and photograph people, but when I got there I didn't feel like it. Not that they weren't super nicely dressed, but most of them were grumpy. I only have shots with some details from the fair :)

Oh, and what do you think about my new blog header? Zebra print, yes or no?

I need a color

trench coat - Sasch // dress - H&M // bag - thrifted // the most awesome shoes in the world are from Deichmann and painted by Diana Ribana

The title has to do with the fact that I love colorful outfits and also the fact that I misunderstood the lyrics of the song "I need a dollar" with "I need a color". I know, it's silly, but to me it sounded so so much better.

"If I share with you my story, would you share your color with me?"

Calea Victoriei ...

Because of the fact that it's getting dark at 5 pm, it is harder to find time and people during the day, so I was really happy to spot this well-dressed girl. But she wasn't sure about the photo and rushed away, leaving me no time to ask about her name, nor to give her my blog address. Well, I hope she likes the photo just as much as I do.
